Improvisors

Tom Carson
Chief Kraken / Improvisor
2025 - Current
BIO
Tom is a retired ED registered nurse who spent decades thriving in the chaos of emergency departments. After years of providing critical care in high-pressure situations, he transitioned to the stage, embracing the world of short-form improv. Now, instead of impacting lives in the ED, Tom uses his quick thinking and calm under pressure to deliver laughs and spontaneous comedy.
Offstage, he enjoys mentoring aspiring improvisers, encouraging them to trust their instincts and embrace the unpredictable. Tom believes that improv, much like emergency care, is about staying present, adapting quickly, and connecting with others in the moment. Whether he's helping others or performing a scene, Tom approaches both with humor, heart, and a deep appreciation for the human experience.
